PROGRAM MANAGEMENT INTERN


Title: Program Management Intern

Location: Virtual 

Immediate Supervisor: Tanequa Moore, Program Manager

Position Type: Intern 

Start: Immediately

Time Commitment: 6 months, 12-15 hours per week


Position Overview:  To assist in the management of the I'RAISE See Her Be Her Program.


I'RAISE See Her Be Her Program Overview:


The See Her Be Her Program is a coaching program for girls ages 11-19 years of age. The See Her Be Her Program’s primary goal is to cultivate Black girls by providing service that is designed to address intergenerational trauma, low self-esteem, and identity issues. Teaching etiquette and black excellence. We uplift young black girls and give them the courage & self-confidence to reach their dreams.


Requirements:


  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

  • Teamwork skills and the ability to manage teams.

  • Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others

  • Ability to schedule and manage tasks effectively

  • Superb analytical and organization skills.

  • Organizational and multitasking skills. 

  • Ability to take the initiative and prioritize tasks

  • Must have superior interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations is a must.

  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree required.  


Responsibilities


  • Provide overall management and oversight of the See Her Be Her program.

  • Assist in recruiting coaches to provide mentorship to students.

  • Recruit young black girls who are interested in the program. 

  • Work with parents, coaches, and students to resolve issues. 

  • Provide technical assistance and overall support to coaches, parents, and students of the program.

  • Train and manage members of the team, including coaches, & mentors.

  • Plan student activities and events including college tours and workshops.

  • Set and track program goals and outcomes. 

  • Evaluate and assess the See Her Be Her programs’ strengths and weaknesses including identifying and addressing risks.

  • Review and oversee program documentation.
