PROGRAM MANAGEMENT INTERN (NYC)
Position Title: Hybrid Program Management Intern
For: Gen-Z College and Career Pathway Program Location: Hybrid (Work from Home & On-Site at HOP and Mott Hall V)
Hours: 15+ hours per week
Duration: 4 to 6 months
Type: Unpaid Internship
About Us: I'RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people through educational and mental health services. We partner with schools to offer impactful programs aimed at improving academic outcomes, mental wellness, and career readiness. The Gen-Z College and Career Pathway Program is designed to support high school students in navigating their academic journey and preparing for future career opportunities.
Position Overview:We are seeking TWO motivated and detail-oriented Hybrid Program Management Interns to support the Gen-Z College and Career Pathway Program at our partnered sites—HOP and Mott Hall V in New York City. This internship offers hands-on experience in program coordination, management, and youth development within an educational and community-based setting. Interns will work closely with program staff to support the delivery of services, engage students, and assist in the execution of day-to-day program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and organizing program activities, workshops, and events for students in the Gen-Z College and Career Pathway Program.
Support the coordination of program logistics, including scheduling, communication with participants, and material preparation.
Monitor student participation and progress, helping ensure program goals are met.
Contribute to data collection, reporting, and evaluation efforts.
Communicate with students, parents, and school staff to provide updates and support program needs.
Assist with marketing and outreach efforts to recruit students for program events and initiatives.
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop new ideas and improve program processes.
Support the development of resources and materials that enhance students’ college and career readiness.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in fields such as Education, Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, or related areas.
Strong interest in youth development, education, and career readiness.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally.
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Previous experience working with youth, community programs, or in educational settings is a plus.
